WebFeb 27, 2007 · If you have a wickes near you they do cheap worktops and mine still look new. we got some one in to fit and it cost (sorry if it not too accurate)£500 -£600 and that was for 14 ish cupboards including larder and he did the plinths and worktops and basically everything oh yeah the sink too! WebJan 18, 2015 · If you really must make a round edge to the worktop use a large radius so the ends where they meet the formed edges of the worktop are more like a 90 deg corner instead of of a obtuse angle, then the join will be easier to make. i.e. make the radius much bigger than half the width of the top,sort of like a D shape. WebJun 28, 2006 · As BA says you will also have a job with the front edge, best option would be to fill the radius with epoxy wood filler and sand smooth, glue on formica then fit a hardwood lipping to the front edge of the worktop.
