WebSystemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare condition characterized by immunologic abnormalities, organ fibrosis and vasculopathy. Interstitial lung disease (ILD), also called pulmonary fibrosis, is a common manifestation of SSc. ILD in SSc is often associated with a decline in lung function within the first several years of lung disease onset.
